Q. What is Foundation Year?
Foundation-1 is an introductory program designed to help students develop reading/writing skills, learning through practical-hands on material, multimedia sessions and fun activities in addition to the subject knowledge of the syllabus books.
Q. Who is eligible for Foundation Year?
Waves Kindergarten Students who have completed 3 Years of Early Childhood Education would be transferred from KG to Foundation-1.
Q. What is the aim of Foundation-1?
Foundation-1 introductory program aims to bridge the Gap of Kindergarten students who face the challenge in reading and writing skills while learning new subjects such as, Islamiat, Science and Social Studies.
Learning is made easier by innovative ideas, creative activities, interesting lessons in regular classes conducted by qualified and experienced professional staff. Special focus is given over improving writing skills by following the correct formations and reading is made easier by learning with phonics.
Q. Is Foundation-1 equivalent to Class I?
YES! It is equivalent to Class 1.
Q. After Foundation-1 which class will the student study?
After Foundation-1, the students of Waves Kindergarten will be directly transferred to Class II in Waves Grammar School. They will also get a “Pass TC of Class 1” from Waves Kindergarten.
Q. Will there be any additional charges or fee charged in Waves Grammar School while being transferred?
NO. The students of Waves Kindergarten will be transferred to Class II, free of cost and without any hidden/extra charges or any Admission Fee. Only tuition fee will be charged every month.
Q. What subjects and publisher books will be followed in Foundation 1?
English, Urdu, Math, Science, Islamiat, Social Studies and Arts will be the subjects taught in Foundation-1 of Oxford Publishers majorly. Noorani Qaida will also be a part of the syllabus and will be taught with proper Tajweed.
